Works have begun on the $75 million office building which will house the NSW Government’s Department of Primary Industries in Orange.
Developed by Verde Property, the project covers a total floor space of 8500 square metres across four storeys.
It will also provide on-site multi-level parking for 393 vehicles, including charging stations for electric vehicles and end of trip facilities such as showers, lockers and bike storage.
The site hols a five-star Green Star design and a 4.5 star NABERS rating for sustainable design and construction.
Construction company ADCO will work alongside Verde on the completion of the project.
ADCO CEO Neil Harding said the company was pleased to be working with Verde again.
“We are delighted to be Builder of Choice for Verde’s Orange development, which will provide numerous employment opportunities for local businesses and individuals during construction and future use by NSW Government’s DPI,” he said.
Works are scheduled for completion in mid-2020.
